Re: Team Headhunter-any 2019 videos you can post?
Dan, are you guys shut down due to the virus? Seen reports that due to restaurants being closed. The demand for fish is real low. So, fish house prices are too low for commercial boats to go out and make a profit. Also, with the high unemployment numbers people are buying cheaper food rather than fish. This virus is really hurting the fishing industry.

Re: Team Headhunter-any 2019 videos you can post?
Boy, deciding on the strangest thing I've ever seen diving will require some thought. I'll def devote some thought to it. I've kept dive logs from 1976 to date so maybe I'll skim through them and enhance my memories.
As far as being shut down, most if not all of my fish went through a wholesaler who sells primarily to Restaurant's. With the shut down of Restaurants, it's def impacted the commercial fisheries, including myself, as a whole. I'm not shut down but have been voluntarily mostly staying around the house, getting things caught up and posting some videos. Hope to be back at it soon. Safe Diving, Dan

Re: Team Headhunter-any 2019 videos you can post?
Dan, i have been hanging around the house too. Plenty of extra free time. Saved thousands of dollars by painting the outside of my house by myself. Even painted my air conditioned man shed. All those "never" have time home projects are each getting crossed off. One by one. Being at home for this period of time for me isn't hard. Easier than my Navy days at sea on a tin can in the early 70's. I have internet,Netflix, sat. tv.etc..Can get in my car and make a grocery run. Back then it was 1 reel to reel movie on the mess decks a night. Mail by helicopter. Walk around the outside deck looking at nothing but water and maybe a few other ships in the squadron. Ship was 390' long and 41' wide. Didn't take long to go for a walk about. DD-847 Robert L .Wilson was launched 1-5-1946. So, i did sea duty on an "old" boat. Anyway, I looking forward to your next Team HeadHunter video production. Just like the old mess deck movie.

How about a bloopers reel. I’m sure we could all use the laugh right now.

Gary, that's a great idea. I'll post a funny one on Thursday. Thanks for the idea. Dan

It’s Thursday and we got a blooper. Fun to laugh at ourselves once in a while. Shit happens but real men know that and shrug it off and keep going

Gary, I use it quite frequently. Usually for a Flashlight mount, sometimes to hold powerhead inserts. I've knocked off a couple of sharks with it but try not to make a habit of that. Whatever diameter shaft you shoot, the spike diameter should match. Dan

Dan,
I assume you took a surface interval and then retrieved your gun? I’m a mechanic and nothing pisses me off more than losing tools. |

Loved the donut video. Ray used to take us to a place he called “the hot spot”. There was a good reason he named it that. It had a cave that produced many exciting moments.
