Purchased my new California Fishing license and was a little surprised to be told it was TEN DOLLARS more than last year. Am I the only one who thinks that is a big INCREASE??

Yup, it sure sucks, license cost has been going up year after year.
Out of all the states in the Union, California charges the most for a fishing license.

...If you have young children, it might be worth looking into purchasing Lifetime licenses for them plus the Lifetime Ocean Enhancement stamp required for Southern CA saltwater fishing...saved our family a lot of money over the years...

It's amazing that it's over $1000 for a young child, and almost $700 even at my age !!!

Welcome to a Democrat-run State. Socialism is incredibly expensive, and you get to pay for it. Vote different next time. But it is already too late, because vote fraud insures that the Democrats will never lose power. California is finished, and that is why so many flee the state.

On the licenses, everything is going up like that. If you are not debt free, and making at least $150K per year, you are in trouble.

$1000/80*10 = $125. That's what it should be for us now
